What is Diabetes role in cardiovascular disease?

A

Increased glucose in the bloodstream increases atherosclerosis events. Evaluated blood pressure forces the heart to work harder, causing the heart to enlarge and weaken.

What is saturated fats role in CHD?

A

Causes more production of LDLs, and reduction of LDL receptors in the liver. More LDL cholesterol in the blood means it cant be removed from the blood.
