Jakarta 1997 5 priorities: Social responsibility/investment/partner for health, increase community capacity and empower individual, secure infrastructure for health promotion

SDOH - The conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work, age. These shaped by money, power, resources global and local levels.
Health Disparities: Health difference closely linked with social, economic, and/or environmental disadvantage.

Objective: Differentiate between 3 levels of prevention
Primary - before disease/dysfunction, health promotion and specific protections (Immunization, sanitation, Vit D)
Secondary - Early detection and quick treatment - screening
Tertiary - minimizing effect/consequences after Dx - cardiac rehab, PT, smoking cessation counseling
