Objective: Exercise recommendations across lifespan - 4 groups

A

Healthy people 2020 23% enough exercise for health benefit, 10% for cardiovascular fitness
CDC Adults 150 moderate or 75 vigorous minutes + muscle strengthening 2 days per week, all muscle groups. Pregnant same. Older adults same.
Children/adolescents 60 minutes/day aerobic, vigorous aerobic 3 days per week, muscle strengthening 3 days per week.

Advise - non-judgmental, individual suggestions for further steps
Assess (motivation to change) - readiness to change, shared decision making
