Software that is intended to harm or damage your computer and systems

Spreads by inserting a copy of itself into another program

Software that appears to be legitimate, but it contains malicious code which exploits the privileges of the user who runs it.

Self Replicating and spread system to system
What is Ransomware?
Software that encrypts programs and data until a ransom is paid to remove it.

Reconnaissance attack, Access attacks and DoS attacks
What is a Reconnaissance Attack?
Unauthorized discovery and mapping of systems, services, or vulnerabilities.
What is a Access Attack?
Exploit known vulnerabilities in authentication services, FTP services, and web services. The purpose of this type of attack is to gain entry to web accounts, confidential databases, and other sensitive information.W
What is a DoS attack
attack creates some sort of interruption of network services to users, devices, or applications.
What is a Buffer Overflow attack?
find a system m related flaw on a server and exploit it. Exploiting the buffer memory by overwhelming it with unexpected values usually renders the system inoperable, creating a DoS attack.
