1-Find mass in grams of solid needed to get correct concentration
2- weight out solid and put into beaker, add 100cm3 and stir to dissolve
3- transfer into conical flask using funnel, wash off funnel, stirring rod and beaker edge to get all salt
4- fill up to 250cm3 using a pipette
5- invert three times

How do you make a solution of given concentration using an amount of solution with a different concentration??

Answer 3

1- find dilution factor by dividing original conc. by the conc. you want
2- divide the volume you want by the dilution factor and add this amount of original solution
3- add remaining volume as water to get the correct conc. and volume
