Reaction Time Interval
The interval of time beginning when the (often unanticipated) stimulus is first presented and ending when the movement response starts
Movement Time
Period of time, from the end of the reaction time interval until the completion of the movement
Response Time
The total reaction time plus the movement time
Choice Reaction Time
The performer must choose 1 response from a subset of possible predetermined movements
Simple Reaction Time
Fastest situation involves only 1 stimulus and 1 response
Spacial Anticipation
The anticipation of which of several possible stimuli will occur and where
Temporal Anticipation
The anticipation of when a given stimulus will arrive or when a movement is to be made
Memory
The storage of the results of the various info-processing activities
