System Requirements
Hardware

- The minimum requirements for software to run, like hard drive space (3BG), CPU(DualCore, 1.8GHz), memory/RAM(2GB), screen resolution
- The requirements will depend on the OS and the version of the OS
- Computer should exceed the minimum requirements to avoid poor performance
- Hard disk requirement is the minimum requirements needed to install the software without the space for the files needed with the software

- Refers to the OS needed
- If the hardware requirements exceed the minimum, using the software will be easier and frustration free, if hardware requirements meet only minimum then it will be slow

Software installation
A
- Download the software from the company’s website where they sell the software
- Install the software from an app store of your OS
- Open source or free ware where you download it as an uzipped file or an .exe file and open it in your Explorer
- Buy physical media ina CD or DVD and insert it into your drive to install

- Agree to a EULA
- Enter poduct key
- Select where you want the installation
- Select the type of installation (typical, Custom, Full)
- Install extras
- Check fro updates
- Register online
- Add shortcuts
- Get a tour of the program

Uninstalling Software

- Use the unistallation program to delete all files that were associated with the program you installed

- Use the File explorer search to search for file type, size, name. Use * to search groups of files(* txt, home*)
- Windows search for apps and computer settings

- Dont force connectors into the wrong slots
- Avoid spilling liquids on hardware
- Use UPS to protect against power surges
- Ensure computer doesnt overheat
