On and off duty, we shall remain courteous, respectful, resourceful, and
professional when interacting with the public and each other.

career path.

We will recognize and utilize our members’ talents and strengths and
empower each individual to succeed and excel.

Ensure members f
ully understand and utilize the chain of command. We will
resolve issues at the lowest possible level.

Possess the capability to agree and disagree on issues without personalizing
the process or outcome.

When a new program or policy is implemented, we will
give it every chance to
succeed. When a change is needed, we will strive to work towards a
collaborative solution.

When encountering a department member demonstrating undesirable
behavior, we will stop, correct, or clarify the issue or behavior. Stand up
for
what is right.

Every member of our department shall seek out responsibility and take
responsibility for their actions or inactions.

To communicate with all members of our department in order to promote
mutual understanding and trust.
