Who does all wealth belong to?
All wealth belongs to Allah.
Who has given us our wealth and how should we use it?
It is He (Allah) who has given it (our wealth) to us to use the way He has commanded us.
What is wealth?
Wealth is Allah amanat with us.
If we are not the owners of our wealth, then what are we?
We are not the owners of this wealth, just the custodians.
What sould we keep in mind when we use our wealth?
We should be careful how we use it as we will be accountable for it to Allah. In short, we must spend it according to His directions.
How must our wealth be spent and earned?
Our wealth should be earned honestly and spent for the right and permissible things.
In the Qur’an, Allah tells us how to spend our wealth. What does Allah say?
In the Qur’an, Allah tells us ho to spend our wealth.
* Others have a share in it too and it is our duty to give it to them
* Not to use only for ourselves
* Not spend lavishly
* As Muslims we are instructed to spend on needs of our family, relatives, orphans, and the needy.
* However, we are told not to waste or overspend our wealth so that we may not become a liability for others.
What does Allah say in the Quran in Surah Al-Isra, 17:29?
In the Quran, Allah says:
Do not tie your hand to your neck (be miserly), or spread it out too much (be wasteful) so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty.

What does Allah say in the Quran in Surah Al-Humazah 104:2-4?
In the Quran, Allah says:
He, who has gathered wealth and counted it, thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! No, never. He will surely be thrown into the crushing Fire (hell).

Hazrat Muhammad Rasool-Allah Khatam-an-Nabiyeen as taught us to be moderate in everything we do. The same is our wealth. We must try to be generous, not wasteful and caring, not selfish, Islam dislikes miserliness as much as extravagance.
