How does the cable reeler work in the warehouse?
There’s a code to activate the reeler system.
To pull out a reel, activate the reeler using the code. Move the reeler until the coil appears. Pull out the wire a few feet. Zero the counter, and proceed to Feed it into the counter (press down on handle to open the counter). Use the spinner to coil the wire. Press down on the fins to release after cutting the wire.
To install a reel, bring the level which the reel is to be installed on to the ground. Unlatch the staffs by lifting the handle and pressing the tab on the support beam. The arms then release. Slide them through the reel. Reinstall by pushing the reel and arms into position, and latching down.
As a general rule of thumb, one amp corresponds to how much HP?
1 horse. It’s 1 HP per amp for determining the hp rating of a motor if all we have is amperage.
How does the forward/reverse starter by Ab (model 505 bod) work with just one e300?
The line side goes into the forward contactor. This is then jumpered onto the neighbouring reverse contactor.
The contactor to be used then closes.
Power goes into the contactor. The load side below then returns back up to the top, behind the line side.
HERE, C and A phases are reversed jumpered from the reverse to forward contactor load side.
Power then goes to the e300 below the forward contactor, and to the load.
Both these contactors are mechanically interlinked.
In a 3 phase load, if trying to identify if the wires at a panel are the same as at another end (ie the bucket), and there is no voltage (as in a gate that only shows voltage when moving), how would you determine that?
You can tough together the red and black at one end, and then, at the other end, use an ohmeter, with one lead on red, and another on black. Low impedance will be shown if they’re the same cable system.
Can also touch the red to ground and use an ohmeter from red to ground as well.
How to use a clamp on a meter (like the one available in your meter) to determine if a motor works properly?
You can go to the bucket, and put the ammeter over one conductor of the 3 phase at a time.
Fiber or Ethernet; which cable is allowed to be cut in order to make the length of it to the length needed?
Ethernet only.
