Contactors In The Cells

The switch in front of the cell itself has a toggle between trip and close. What does this do?

Answer 1

This is basically a manual override of the contractor which otherwise would close and open via an hmi command.

If control and everything is fine and happy, flipping the switch to “close” will close the contractor.

Note: Even if the conveyors starts across the line, this will NOT start the conveyor (coupler is not engaged unless conveyor is started at local station or via hmi command).
