Engine Failure after V1

A

PM: Announce “Engine Failure”; cancel Master Caution
PF: Rotate to 12.5 deg and follow SRS
PM: “Positive Climb”
PF: “Gear Up”; apply rudder input to center beta tgt, then trim out rudder pressure (15-18 deg), follow FD and engage AP
Once appr flight path est and > 400’ AGL,
PF: “ECAM Actions”
- Thrust levers should be moved by PF
- TLs, Engine Master sw, and FIRE pbs must be confirmed by both pilots
When engine secured
PF: “Stop ECAM” At acceleration altitude, push V/S to level off. (Delay accel for Eng sec, but do not climb above accel alt)
PM: Clean up aircraft at acceleration altitude.
PF: “Continue ECAM”
PF/PM: continue ECAM dance
