What are the two fluted end mills good for?

A

They are good for plunge cutting as the cutting edges go to the middle, also good for softer material and heavy cuts as they can exit chips very well

What are three a four fluted end mills good for?

A

They can be used at higher feed rates but have less room for exiting chips so they can not take as heavy of a cut

Is the feed rate on fly cutters fast or slow?

A

It is slow due to there only being one cutting edge. They do some with more cutting inserts to allow for faster feeds
