What is migration?
The movement of one place to another.
What are emigrants?
Emigrants are people who leave E for exit.
What are immigrants?
People who arrive in a country
What is place where the migrant left called?
The origin
What is the place the migrant is going to called?
Destination.
Where is the migrant when they are between the origin and destination?
En-route
What is international migration?
The movement of one country to another
What is temporary migration?
Where they move to work for a certain amount of time and return home after. They usually dive the money to family back home.
What is internal migration?
Movement of people to different areas of the same country
What is rural to urban migration?
This is the movement of people from the countryside to towns and cities
What is a refugee
A person who leaves their country because of fear of persecution eg. Their race, religion or nationality.
What do people choose to migrate?
To improve their job opportunities
Why are some people forced to migrate?
They move away from their home region due to war or famine.
