movement from countryside to a built up area
state some reasons why people would want to migrate out of london
house prices, wanting to move somewhere less busy, taxes increase, people are able to work from home so don’t need to be in the city centre and is the same as the travel time is the same, and finally the increasing population makes it less family friendly and attractive to live in
some consequences of lots of people migrating away from london into rural areas
less money, no one taking jobs, other areas becoming overcrowded
why do most people migrate from their original country or city
because of a number of socio economic changes ( how they are treated, where they live, access to education and health, money and jobs)
what is national migration
move from one part of the country to another
usually in developing countries
often move for better job prospects and increased pay
what is international migration
move from one country to another
better jobs, services or to escape poverty
