Amphibians lay eggs without shells in jelly masses. their eggs hatch into larvae that has gills, these larvae metaphosphate into adults that have legs and lungs.

Reptiles bury their eggs in loose soil, while some give birth to live young ., reptiles do not have a larvae stage
