Social wellbeing
Health is influenced in the man made environment or artificial environment too. It included items like housing, transport, industries and communication.
Man made environment
It is some what easier to defined health for an individual.
Health indicators
Availability, accessibility, affordability and acceptability of health services are considered an important determinant / input to health.
Health service-
‘can be measured through indicators of economics, (gross national product gross national income and per capita income), life expectancy, under five mortality, infant mortality, literacy level, composite index of human development, maternal mortality etc.
“Community health” ‘
Aims to obtain general information about the community profile to determine the community strengths and weaknesses.
Community Diagnosis
the analysis of the community’s demographic characteristics should show the following:
Demographic variables-
The number of inhabitants in or spread across designated subdivisions of an area, region, city or country.
Total population and geographical distribution

- Total population of the families surveyed
- Sex Ratio
consider 15 vears old and above
Civil Status
The study or detailed description of the surface features of a region/ province/ city/ town/ barangay

is the weather conditions prevailing in an arca in general or over a long period

used to understand risk factors for communities, track and monitor diseases, see the impact of policy changes, and assess the quality and safety of health care
