What is MIDI?
MIDI is a system that allows different electronic instruments to communicate between each other.
What does MIDI stand for?
Musical instrument digital interface

1983 by Dave Smith of Sequential Circuits after its introduction in 1981.
Why was midi created?
To end lack of compatibility between manufacturers.
What is MIDI’s bit-depth ?
It is an 8-bit binary language.
What does each MIDI device feature?
MIDI in, MIDI out and MIDI thru
What does MIDI thru do?
Connects further devices in a chain and sends an exact copy of what it is at the MIDI in.
