Indications for microdermabrasion
Rhytids (wrinkles), sun damage, hyperpigmentation and telangiectasia, rough texture, after facial surgery, acne scarring, keratosis
Contraindications for microdermabrasion
Extensive telangiectasia, rosacea, skin infections, burns, rashes, oral or topical acne medications, immediate post-operative facial surgery, injectables (botox and filler), chemical peels, and some laser treatments
