Metronidazole Adverse Effects (common)
A
Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhoea
Headache
Dizziness

Metronidazole Counselling
A
Avoid alcohol during and up to 24 hours after treatment
Take tablets with food to reduce stomach upset
Take liquid 1 hou before food for absorption
Avoid driving if you are feeling dizzy or confused

Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhoea
Headache

May cause drowsiness or dizziness - if effected do not drive
