A
- Renal disease/impairment
- Tetracycline antibiotics
- Exceeding total dose of 6mL in 24 hours
- History of malignant hyperthermia
- Muscular dystrophy

what are the precautions for methoxy
A
- must be held by the patient (self-administered)
- Pre-eclampsia
- Concurrent use with oxytocin may cause hypotension

What are the Side effects of methoxy
A
- drowsiness
- decrease in BP and bradycardia
- Exceeding max dose may lead to renal toxicity

what is the Duration and onset of methoxy
A
Onset = 8-10 breaths duration = 25 mins... approx 3-5 mins after discontinuing use
