A

Stretch mucosa and inject at apex of root of tooth, insert few mm and inject into soft tissue first to decrease pain of moving needle deeper.

A

Infiltration

Then injection into dental papillae until blanching palatal

Inject palatal where blanching is to anaesthetise soft tissue palatally

A

45 degree angle

Short needle used

5-10 mm palatal of the crown

0.2-0.4ml of cart is used

6-10mm above line of lingual cusps of lower molars

Fingers at angle of mandible and thumb at anterior notch

Inject between notch and pterygomandibular raphe
