A
An indicator of the temperature when a geologic event happens.

What is metasomatism?
A
change in the composition of a rock as a result of the introduction or removal of chemical constituents

What does it mean when a rock is foliated?
A
When the minerals are all aligned in one direction.
Caused by previously plated rocks.
Also caused by compression of these plated rocks.
-Changes size of the crystal

A
- Rocks formed under similar pressures and temperatures.
- Depends on what kind of rock you start with.
