Advantages to using a timeline

A

instead of listening dates, you can compare them to one another
it organizes information, it makes it easy to see events in order
it acts as a quick visual reference, you can get a lot of information from a timeline
it shows how closely different events happened to one another
events that appeared closer to one another were more recent to when they happened

What is the best way to build a timeline?

A
  1. Title of a Timeline (it will tell what the timeline is about)
  2. Decide the years you want to cover (What is the earliest and most recent date on the timeline)
  3. Measure the years out in even spaces
  4. Include enough years labeled to approximate the dates
  5. Lastly, add the events in proper location
