It is a development disorder affecting communication and behaviour, appearing in the first two years of life.
Difficulty with communication and interaction with people, restricted interests and repetitive behaviours
Describe the basic concept of affective disorders (major depression/ bipolar disorder; biological bases and treatments)
Bipolar disorder : mixed episodes of mania and depression
Mania: persistently elevated or irritable mood, inflated self-esteem or grandiosity, decreased need for sleep, increased talkativeness, impaired judgement
