Vitamin D (600 IU daily)
Exercise (aerobic and weight bearing), flexibility- preserve agility and prevent falls; muscle strengthening
selective estrogen receptor modifiers (SERMs) - do not relieve hot flashes
Anti-resorptive agents- bisphosphonates (highly effective in improving BMD and preventing fractures)
