The PIC calls via the inter phone and informs the FA an evacuation is not required and to expedite deplane through the main cabin door. This is followed by a passenger announcement. “This is the captain, remain seated seated with your seatbelts fastened and follow the direction of your flight attendants”.

  2. POSSIBILITY OF LOSS OF LIFE WHE A SIGNIFICANT DELAY OCCURS.
  3. TYPE OF THREAT TO THE AIRPLANE INCLUDING STRUCTURAL DAMAGE, FIRE, REPORTED BOMB ON BOARD.
  4. POSSIBILITY OF FIRE SPREADING RAPIDLY FROM SPILLED FUEL OR OTHER FLAMMABLE MATERIALS.
  5. EXTENT OF DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE.
  6. POSSIBILITY OF PASSENGER INJURY DURING AN EVACUATION USING ALL EMERGENCY EXITS.
  7. BEST EVACUATION ROUTE FOR THE FLIGHT CREW
  8. ALL AVAILABLE SOURCES OF INFORMATION SHOULD BE USED TO DETERMINE THE SAFEST COURSE OF ACTION INCLUDING REPORTS FROM THE FA, OTHER AIRCRAFT, ATC, AND AIRCRAFT RESCUE AND FIREFIGHTING.
  9. THE PICE MAY REQUEST, OR BE ASSIGNED A DISCRETE FREQUENCY FOR ATC / ARFF TO ASSIST IN PLANNING AND HANDLING THE EMERGENCY.
