What are the memory items for an EGPWS “pull up - terrain ahead pull up - obstacle ahead pull up”?

A

Simultaneously:

Auto pilot - off
Pitch - pull up (pull to full aft stick and maintain)
Thrust levers - TOGA
Speed brakes lever - check retracted
Bank - wings level or adjust

When flight path is safe and warning stops: decrease pitch attitude and accelerate.

When speed is above Vls and vertical speed is positive: clean up a/c as req.

What are the memory items for crew incapacitation?

A
  • take control of the aircraft “I have control”, use take over button and engage auto pilot on pilots side.
  • call CM to flight deck, use PA “attention senior cabin crew member to the flight deck”.
  • declare emergency to atc
  • take steps to assure incapacitated pilot can not interfere with aircraft controls.
  • request assistance from any medically qualified passenger.
  • check for a qualified company pilot onboard.
  • land as soon as practicable.
  • arrange medical assistance

Second phase:

  • prepare approach and read cx list early
  • request radar vectors for a longer approach
  • perform landing from fit pilot usual seat.

- speed brake - full

When descent established:
Emergency descent FL100 or minimum allowable altitude.

  • speeds - max/ appropriate
  • eng mode sel - ign
  • atc - notify
  • transponder - 7700

If cab alt >14000 fr
Pax oxy masks - man on

A

AP/FD - off
A/THR - off

Pitch thrust:
Below thr red alt - 15/toga
Above thr red alt <fl100 - 10/clb
Above thr red alt >fl100 - 5/clb

Flaps - maintain config. Flaps full select conf 3

Speed brakes - check retracted

Landing gear - up

When at or above msa or circuit alt: level off for troubleshoot
