Stabilizer Runaway

A

Avoid manual pitch inputs until autopilot is disconnected.
Extended trim operation may result in trim motor thermal shutdown. Trim motor operation may resume after sufficient cooling period.

  1. Autopilot………..…Disconnect
  2. Control Wheel Trim Switches…….Trim in Opposite Direction of Runaway

Do Not use Longitudinal Trim (suitcase) Handles to Oppose Runaway
