EGPWS Warnings “Pull Up”, “Terrain Ahead, Pull Up”, “Obstacle Ahead, Pull Up”
- AP - OFF
- Pitch - Pull Up (Full backstick and maintain that position)
- Thrust - TOGA
Emergency Descent
- Crew Oxy Masks - USE
- Signs - ON
- EMER Descent - Initiate (If A/THR is not active; Thrust Levers - IDLE)
- SPD BRK - FULL
Loss of Braking
If no braking is available: 1. REV- MAX 2. Brake Pedals - RELEASE 3. A/Skid off - ORDER 4. A/Skid & N/W Strg - OFF 5. Brake Pedals - Press 6. Max BRK PR - 1000PSI If still no braking: 7. Parking brake - Short and Successive Applications
Smoke/Fumes/AVNCS Smoke
If perceptible smoke apply immediately:
1. OXY Mask/Goggle - USE/100%/EMERG
Stall Recovery
- Nose Down Pitch Control - APPLY
- Bank - WINGS LEVEL
(When out of stall - no longer stall indications) - Thrust - INCREASE SMOOTHLY AS NEEDED
4.Speedbrakes - CHECK RETRACTED - Flight Path - RECOVER SMOOTHLY
If in clean config and below FL200: - Flap 1 - SELECT
Stall Warning at Lift-Off
- Thrust - TOGA
At the same time: - Pitch Attitude - 15 DEGREES
- Bank - WINGS LEVEL
TCAS Warning (Resolution Advisory)
- AP (if engaged) - OFF
- Both FDs - OFF
- Respond promptly and smoothly to the RA by adjusting and maintaining the pitch as required to reach the green area and avoid the red area of the vertical speed scale
Unreliable Speed Indication/ ADR Check Proc
If the safe conduct of flight is impacted:
- AP/FD - OFF
- A/THR - OFF
- Pitch / Thrust
- Below THR RED ALT - 15 Deg / TOGA
- Above THR RED ALT and Below FL100 - 10 Deg/ CL
- Above THR RED ALT and Above FL100 - 5 Dg / CL - Flaps - MAINTAIN CURRENT CONFIG
- Flaps (If conf full) - Select CONFIG 3 and MAINTAIN
- Speedbrakes - CHECK RETRACTED
- L/G - UP
“Windshear, Windshear, Windshear”
If after V1:
- THR Levers - TOGA
- Reaching VR - ROTATE
- SRS Orders - FOLLOW
Airborne, Initial Climb or Landing
- THR Levers at TOGA - SET OR CONFIRM
- AP (If engaged) - KEEP ON
- SRS Orders - FOLLOW
“Windshear Ahead, Windshear Ahead”
When Airborne:
- THR Levers - TOGA
- AP (if engaged) - KEEP ON
- SRS Orders - FOLLOW
Landing:
- Go Around - PERFORM
- AP (if engaged) - KEEP ON
Parking break is set but aircraft moves forward on its own
Parking break off
Apply toe brakes
Electrical interruption during engine start
Manually abort engine start
Crank engines for 30 seconds
Engines don’t shutdown when commanded
Recycle engine masters and try again
Still won’t shutdown push engine fire push button
Do not discharge agent
