1) AP - Off
2) A/THR - Off
3) FD - Off
4) Pitch/Thrust - Set

If climb required or safety of flight concern

  • Below THRUST RED ALT - 15 degrees/TOGA
  • Above THRUST RED ALT & Below 10,000’ - 10 degrees/CLB
  • Above THRUST RED ALT & Above 10,000’ - 5 degrees/CLB

When out of stall
Thrust - Increase smoothly as needed
Speed brakes - Check retracted

When aircraft has recovered sufficient energy
Flight path - Recover smoothly

If in clean configuration below 20,000’ call for “Flaps 1”
