- hypersensitivity to any cephalosporin or type I PCN allergy
- do not use in neonates w/ increased bilirubin 2ary to kernicterus risk
Ceftriaxone AEs
- diarrhea
- neutropenia, thrombocytopenia
- platelet dysfunction
