O: body + inferior Ramus of pubis
I: Trochanteric fossa of femur
Adductor Longus (most superficial)
O: body of pubis inferior to pubic crest
I: middle 1/3 of linear aspera of femur
Adductor Brevis (deep to Add Long + Short)
O: body and inferior ramus of pubis
I: pectineal line + proximal part of linea aspera of femur
Adductor Magnus (widest + medial)
ADDUCTOR PART O: inferior ramus of pubis, ramus of ischium
HAMSTRING PART O: ischial tuberosity
ADDUCTOR I: gluteal tuberosity, linea aspera, med. supracondylar line
HAMSTRING I: adductor tubercle of femur
Obturator Externus (over the top)
O: external aspect, margins of obturator foramen and membrane
I: trochanteric fossa of femur
Gracilis ACTION AND INNERVATION
adducts thigh, flexes leg, helps rotate medially
Obturator Nerve - ANT branch
Adductor Longus ACTION AND INNERVATION
Adducts thigh
Obturator nerve - ANT branch

Adducts thigh, flexes it to some extent

Hamstring: Extends thigh
Tibial part of Sciatic Nerve

Lat rotate thigh, steadies head of femur into acetabulum
