what is it?
A
overuse injury of hand, especially finger flexor tendons which originates in the medial humoral epicondyle

what causes it?
A
repetitive strain or degeneration of common flexor origin

what are the symptoms?
A
medial elbow pain with a tender point over origin of flexors at medial epicondyle
pain aggrevated by wrist flexion and pronation
pain worse on grasping
pain radiates down anterior forearm

what are the signs?
A
flex elbow to 90 degrees in supination, pain produced when wrist flexed against resistance

what investigations are used?
A
mainly clinical
USS and MRI when diagnosis uncertain
