pulled elbow in child can result in sole radial head dislocation rather than full elbow dislocation

pain and swelling over the elbow

A
x-ray - AP and lateral

what is the management?
A
reduction - traction in extension +/- pressure over olecranon
2 weeks in sling and rehab

what complications can occur?
A
radial head fractures and coronoid process fractures
