What is medial epicondylalgia
A
> tendinopathy of the flexors/pronators
usually involves Pronator Teres and FCR so possible irritation of ulnar nerve = 20% of cases

A
> Age: 40’s - 60’s
Female
golf or manual work

Clinical Presentation
A
> Pain on medial aspect of elbow (tender to palpate)
Aggs:
- resisted/repeated wrist flexion/ forearm pronation
- valgus stress
- stretching of tendons
- throwing/gripping
Reduced grip strength

Management
A
> Physiotherapy - Load management - Exercise - Taping/bracing - Education > NSAIDS > Corticosteroid injection > Shockwave therapy > Surgery
