TTN = C section is a risk factor
whilst their in birth canal during vag delivery. water is absorbed normally. C section - don’t squeeze out that fluid.
RDS = lack of surfactant, surfactant produced by pneumocytes in the lung. babies born too early don’t have enough surfactant.
will need an oxygen requirement
Less invasive surfactant administration (LISA) via endotracheal tube
