Acid Chlorides have a strong delta positive carbon which is susceptible to attack from nucleophiles.
Strong delta positive carbon because the oxygen and the chlorine atoms are VERY ELECTRONEGATIVE.
nucleophiles: water, ammonia , alcohols, ch3nh2 (amines)
