What are integers?
They are whole numbers either positive or negative.
What is a prime number?
Only divisible by itself and one.
What is a composite number?
A number that has more than 1 factor than itself.
What are factors?
Numbers that are multiplied to get the product.
What is a multiple?
Product of factors.
What is the least common multiple (LCM?)
Lowest product of two factors.
What is the rule with adding and subtracting same signs?
Follow the signs.
What is the rule in adding and subtracting different signs?
Subtract the numbers then copy the sign of the highest number.
What is the rule in multiplying and dividing same signs?
Always positive.
What is the rule in multiplying and dividing different signs?
Always negative.
What is the order of operations?
PEMDAS: Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Adding, and Subtracting
What are fractions?

What is a proper fraction?
Numerator is smaller than the denominator.
What is an improper fractiong?
Numeration is bigger than the denominator.
What is a mixed fraction?
Has a whole number and a proper fraction.
How to know if a fraction is equal?
Cross multiply and see if they have the same product.
How to add and subtract dissimilar fraction?
Change the denominator to the same multiples and then do operation.
How to multiply fractions?
Numerator to Numerator
Denominator to Denominator
How to divide fractions?
Make the second fraction reciprocate then multiply like normal fractions.
How to simplify fractions?
Find the GCF for both numerator and denominator then divide it both.
How to convert improper fraction to mixed fractions?
Divide the numerator to the denominator. The quotient will be the whole number. The remainder will be the numerator then the denominator will be the same.
How to order fractions?
Convert all to similar fractions then order them.
How to convert fractions to decimals?
Divide numerator by the denominator.
What is the basic percentage formula?
P=BxR
What is the formula for getting the base of a percentage?
B=P/R
