Q

Vector

A

Magnitude + direction eg displacement

In the scenario of a car moving in a circle, it has constant speed and is travelling distance but its displacement is 0 because it comes back to the same position (vectors cancel out)

Q

How to find magnitude and direction of a vector

A

Any vector can be represented by two orthogonal vector components if there are multiple given vectors or vector is not in a right angled triangle.

Find the x components of the vectros
Find all the y

Find the x and the y, draw them out and then draw the vector (free tail to free head), find angle and magnitude of vector
