Q

What are thermoset plastics?

A

Thermoset plastics have strong primary bonds between their molecule chains. This means that it cannot be remolded once formed, and will burn if heated.

Q

Properties of softwood

A

Low density, open grain (absorbent).
More flexible, less strong in tension.
Generally lighter colored, usually used for low-cost furniture.
Fast growing (renewable source).
