  • PA: posterior gluteal line of ilium, dorsal sacrum + coccyx, sacrotuberous ligament
  • DA: most fibers end in iliotibial tract (inserts into Gerdy’s tubercle), some end in gluteal tuberosity
  • inferior gluteal nerve (L5, S1, S2)
