- Done through the promise of procreation and commitment to spouse.
- “All the blessings that a man recieves come only to him through the merit of his wife”

A
Personal Yom kippur, they are cleansed of sin as they are reborn as one.

A
Outlines responsibilities entrusted to the Chosson over his wife.

- Time of rejoice
- Strengthened due to promise of children. “Be fruitful and multiply”, Gen 2.
