What are the three ways of showing height on a map

A

Spot heights - gives exact height above sea level in meters. They are represented by black dots or triangulation pillar (shows the highest point), tirangle with a blue dot.
Layer Colouring - shows different heights using bands of colour. Brown is used for the high ground
and lighter shade of green for the lower land. Often used in a Atlas
Contours - lines that join places of equal height. Usually brown, height is given in metres.
