Q

Describe Te Whare Tapa Whā

A

Health is represented as four ‘walls’ and each needs to be strong in order to have good wellbeing.
- Tinana: physical health
- Hinengaro: mental and emotional wellbeing
- Wairua: spiritual health
- Whānau: social well being

This definition is similar to WHO’s definition and holistic models (as they use three of these walls)
