ENGINE START – [EXTERNAL POWER]

[CAUTION]: Never connect EXT PWR source to airplane unless battery indicating at least 20v.

If battery voltage less than 20v, battery must be recharged or replaced before connecting EXT PWR.

NOTE: When EXT PWR source used it must be set at 28.0 – 28.4 volts and be capable of producing 1,000 amps momentarily and 300 amps continuously.

The battery should be on to absorb transients present in some EXT PWR sources, EXT PWR ANNUN is provided to alert crew when an EXT DC PWR plug is connected to airplane.]
