Increase dose SABA (if not adequate add THEOPHYLLINE)
More purulent sputum –> ANTIBIOTIC
ORAL CORTICOSTEROIDS
OXYGEN THERAPY
MUCOLYTICS
PHYSIOTHERAPY (BiPAP?)

Stable COPD
A
SMOKING CESSATION
Inhaled SABA or SAMA –> add LABA or LAMA –> add LAMA or LABA –> add ICS (if FEV<50%)
MUCOLYTICS (chronic phlegm)
LTOT if necessary (cor pulmonale, hypoxaemia, cyanosis, polycythaemia)
