A
  • regular three line stanzas almost reflecting the neat linear pattern of ploughed fields
  • however, at times length of lines change, with longer lines breaking the neat form
  • disrupted pattern could reflect the ‘chits of gone’ rising up out of the ground and situating our attempts to forget the past
