2.5 mg/kg IV q5-10 min prn to a max of 10 mg/kg, followed by 1-2 mg/kg enterally q6h for 72 h

Meperidine for Shivering

25-50 mg IV once, caution in hepatic/renal dz or seizure predisposition

Lorazepam for Shivering

Answer 5

1-2 mg IV q4-6h prn
