A
Malaria is caused by a protist that annually kills many people worldwide

How is it spread
A
Protist infects FEMALE anopheles mosquito when she feeds on the blood of an infected person.
It lives in the Saliva glands of the female mosquito and is transferred to the un infected person when the mosquito injects some saliva into the bloodstream to prevent blood cells from clotting
